• Welcome to PAWS!
My name is Audie Green and I am beginning my 23rd at Anderson Districts 1 and 2 Career and Technology Center as the 2013-2014 year begins.

I received a BS degree in Agricultural Education in 1985 and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Education in 2004 from Clemson University. I also became a National Board Certified Teacher of Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood /Career and Technical Education in 2003.

After graduating from Clemson, I began a career with the Cooperative Extension Service through the University of Georgia that would for last three years. I gained valuable experience in a variety of areas: planning and conducting 4-H meetings in the local schools, training and coordinating with adult volunteers, working with farmers/agribusiness with production enterprises and working with homeowners with landscaping/lawn issues.

Working as a county agent with the cooperative extension service, I realized that I enjoyed conducting 4-H and had acquired a passion for teaching. I enjoy teaching and learning everyday as the students learn new concepts.

I am a firm believer in providing my students with many project-based activities that an Agricultural Educator can share with students. I get a pleasure from watching the students participate, learn and apply these newly learned concepts taught in an Agriculture program.

This philosophy strongly related to the FFA motto which states “Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to live and Living to serve". After all, it is a teacher’s responsibility to help instill and mold the students into productive members of our society.

My wife is an eighth grade science teacher. We live in Belton, South Carolina with our two sons, Austin and Carson.
