Hi and Welcome to ACTC's newest program, Sports Medicine! I am Julia Voyles, and this is my 4th year as a teacher at ACTC. I have been busy all summer building this program to be exciting, fun and extremely beneficial for all of my students! I come to ACTC from Wren High School where I was the Athletic Trainer for three years. Before moving to South Carolina seven years ago, I was an athletic trainer at a high school in the Chicago area for eight years. I have experience in the high school, collegiate, and professional sports medicine settings as well as hospital and physical therapy settings. A collegiate athlete myself, I became interested in the sports medicine field through time spent in my training room as an injured athlete.  

 

My goal for my students is to prepare them with both the classroom and lab knowledge as well as practice and hands-on experience using skills and top of the line equipment to excel them beyond their peers in the next step of their education towards their career choice. I am so excited you are here to help continue the growth of the Sports Medicine Program, looking forward to a great year!
