Sports Medicine 4
Sports Medicine 4 is the final course of the program where students are expected to demonstrate the skills they have learned throughout the program's entirety in a work-based learning environment. A priority will be placed on understanding the current research and evidence-based practices affecting the practice of Sports Medicine professionals. Students will develop policies, procedures, and guidelines based on these aspects, as well as explore detailed treatment and rehabilitation procedures for common athletic injuries. Students are expected to participate in clinical situations either at school with their athletic department or in an outside clinical setting for real world experience.
