Game Design & Development
Game Design & Development is a one-semester course that explores both the creative and technical aspects of video game development using the Unity engine—an industry-standard tool behind popular titles like Cuphead, Among Us, and Beat Saber.
Building on programming skills acquired in Python and Java, students will learn the C# language to develop interactive gameplay elements and dynamic scenes. Through hands-on projects and scripting, they will gain experience in game mechanics, level design, and user interaction.
The course culminates in a final project of the student’s choosing (within a reasonable scope), allowing them to apply their knowledge in designing and developing a complete game.
