Graphic Communications 2
Details, details! This junior-level course includes students who took the Graphic Communications 1 class as a sophomore as well as students who did not. We will take the principles taught in the Introduction class and explore printing on a much deeper level.
Students will learn the terminology used in the printing industry and gain hands-on experience on prepress, printing and finishing equipment used in the printing industry. Students will have the opportunity to experience three of the major printing processes used in the industry: screen printing, digital printing and flexography.
In addition, students will learn about working in a service-oriented industry, finishing operations, and ink and substrates used in the printing industry. This class meets every morning during 2nd semester.
