Welcome to Biomedical Science

I am Tanya Dickerson, instructor of Introduction to Health Science and Biomedical. This will be my third year teaching, and I have more than 20 years experience as an RN! I am very excited about getting to know my students, and helping them learn more about the career opportunities available to them in healthcare. I love combining my real life experiences with the exciting curriculums my students have chosen to study here at ACTC.   

A little more about me: I married my husband, Jason, in 1999. He also works in education. We have four children; Blake, Ethan, Andrew and Catie. Since four kids was simply not enough....we also have two dogs! My husband and I are both BHP alumni. We love this community, and are excited to be able to pour back into an area that has given both of us so much over the years!
