Welcome to Aerospace Engineering-SREB Advance Careers

My name is James Davis. As of 2020, I am the instructor for our offering in the pathway of Aerospace under SREB's Advanced Careers Curriculum as well as Drone Certification Prep test class for FAA part 107 certification. Since 2008 I have also taught PLTW's Introduction to Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Principles of Engineering, Computer Science Essentials, Aerospace, and Engineering Design and Development. In addition I am on the ACTC Robotics team's mentors and now coach the ACTC team's competing in RAD aerial drone competitions.

I have been from this area most of my life and went to Wren and this Career Center during high school. During my 19 years in the Engineering field I remained on the advisory board for ACTC's mechanical and architectural drafting program before returning to the Career Center in 2008 as an instructor.

I look forward to sharing my work experience and teaching the variety of opportunities available to students in the engineering field.
