The Construction Technology courses prepare students to work in the field of residential or commercial construction. The student learns skills necessary to be successful in a number of construction trades.
Blueprints, building materials, hand and power tools, layout instruments, basic building math and general safety are part of the student's introductory year.
The level 1 students learn skills and components associated with the building of residential and light commercial structures. Students are also introduced to masonry and concrete.
Level 2 students build upon previously learned skills along with advanced framing, basic electricity, and residential plumbing.
