Our center provides support through the WBL coordinator who assists with the recruitment process, monitors the student's progress, and acts as a liaison between the employer and the student.
How do we evaluation the performance of co-op students?
Employers typically evaluate co-op students based on their job performance, skills development, and professional behavior. Regular feedback and form evaluations at the end of the work term are common practices.
What happens if their are issues with a co-op student?
If issues arise, employers should first address them directly with the student and provide constructive feedback. If the problems persist, the WBL coordinator can mediate and assist in resolving the situation.
