    Welcome to PLTW Engineering
My name is Lisa Lennon and I am one of the five instructors for the Project Lead the Way Engineering Program at ACTC.  I teach Introduction to Engineering Design (IED), Computer Science Essentials (CSE), Computer Science Principles (CSP), and Environmental Sustainability (ES).

My bachelor's degree is in Operations and Systems Management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.  After moving to the Upstate, I attended Clemson University to earn my Master of Arts in Teaching.  I am also half-way through another masters degree.  This time I am working on a degree in Biological Sciences.  The 2019-2020 school year is my fifteenth year to teach and my seventh year at the Career and Technology Center.  I thrive on new challenges and am very excited to get further involved in the PLTW curriculum.

At home, I stay active with my husband and four children.  Our youngest is at Clemson working on his MBA and is on the Clemson Men's Soccer Team.  We have a daughter and a son that graduated from Clemson with degrees in engineering. Our daughter is a BioTech Engineering major and works for Boston Scientific as a device specialist, and our son that is a Computer Engineering major and works for Manhattan Associates in Marietta, Georgia. They both completed four years of PLTW classes at ACTC. We also have a daughter who graduated from Anderson University and teaches art at Boiling Springs Middle School.  I have plans for training my Welsh Springer Spaniel, Chester, to be a therapy dog.
