Seniors will learn how to process a crime scene from the moment they arrive to the point that they clear and place evidence into storage.
Processing certain evidence, such as finger prints, with gases, powders and liquids will be performed by the student. Photography, Crime Scene Sketches, Facial Reconstruction, the roles of the Medical Examiner and Coroner, Narcotic Identification, Collection of Evidence, Chain of Custody of Evidence, Plaster Casting and Criminal Profiling of a crime scene will also be performed by the student.
There is also a senior project for this section. The student is required perform all tasks and present all evidence collected and found in correct packaging and with correct paperwork attached.
