    This entry level course introduces students to the tools and materials common to the construction trades. There is a strong emphasis on safety in the lab and on the job site.Handson projects are used to teach proper use of tools and materials. Students are also taught the importance of how to read blueprints. Construction math is also part of this semester-long course that awards 1 unit of credit for successful completion.
